Impact
IGNITE is transforming people, programs and places across the Bluff and beyond every day.
THE BUSINESS OF DIFFERENCE MAKING
Opened in 1959, Duquesne University’s Rockwell Hall has been transformed over the past seven years through gifts to the IGNITE campaign. The home of the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business has been reimagined and renovated, sparking changes to every aspect of the curriculum and student experience.
LARGEST GIFT EVER
Thomas R. Kline, one of the nation’s most influential and highly regarded trial lawyers, has committed $50 million to provide transformational support to Duquesne’s 111-year-old law school. Duquesne University President Ken Gormley announced that the University will recognize the gift by naming its law school the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University.
THE DONORS’ HOUSE
Located on the site of the former A.J. Palumbo Center, UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse opened in 2020. It serves as the home court for men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball, but more than that, it’s a hub of academic support, physical training, and wellness facilities for all of Duquesne’s more than 400 student-athletes.
