Since our founding in 1878, Duquesne University has been sustained by the work of the Spiritans and the generosity of alumni and friends. In our relentless pursuit of bigger goals, we launched our most ambitious campaign ever, with an unprecedented goal of $333,333,333–a third of a billion dollars.

Thanks to the support of thousands of alumni, friends and organizations, Ignite shattered its ambitious target, raising $345,113,000 to invest in the future, illuminate the mind, inspire the soul and integrate health care.

Individually, these imperatives fortify the values we’ve upheld and the education we’ve always provided. Collectively, they are transforming the way the world sees Duquesne, and the way we see ourselves.

Thanks to you, we are a University on the rise, but our work is never finished. While Ignite has ended, we are forging ahead toward Duquesne’s 150th anniversary in 2028 with a focus on new health sciences facilities, alleviating student debt, expanding engineering programs, and offering more study-abroad opportunities.
